Hospital

My pay ended on Friday.....never been ill in my entire life and Ive used up a years worth of sick pay in one go...3 fucking months....wish it was 6 months.

I was seeing this private dude ......its a perk having private health care so i thought lets use it. It would seem the referral might have come a little late though because on 27th October I was admitted to hospital with pneumonia complicated with pleurisy.

Let me tell you about pleurisy......fucking worse pain I have ever experienced and I've given birth 3 times. Can't breath...can't cry...can't move ....can't even take a piss because anything and everything hurts. 2 codeine tablets didn't touch the pain. So an ambulance was called and in I went.

Straight on to IV antibiotics and oral antibiotics which was then changed to a hard core antibiotic on day 3. During this time I had a CT scan and a Bronchoscopy which was rushed through after the CT scan results had been seen. This of course made me panic like a MOTHER_FUCKER. Good news was that no nasty cancer was seen and it would appear that it was an evil mutated type of bacteria which was thriving.

Fast forward 2 weeks and I'm discharged .....feeling no difference really. Feel a bit shit....not eating really...tired all the time....have a follow up in about a week and then that comes with another chest xray and more bloods.

Mortgage is due soon and I might not be able to fund it ........
